Arts Varsity happened a little over a month ago and we are still riding the high that was our 8-3 win against Goldsmiths University! This marked the sixth consecutive win for UAL, continuing the triumph over the Arts Cup by us!

The day started very bright and sunny, perfect for a good time at the games which took place on Greenwich’s Avery Hill campus. Both UAL and Goldsmiths turned up the heat with plenty of crowds cheering on their respective universities throughout the day! We had visits from both mascots to all the sports, alongside some amazing food and free drinks courtesy of Red Bull! There were some stellar performances from all our sport teams: men’s volleyball had a 2-1 win, mixed hockey had a 4-1 win, and a special congratulations to women’s football with a 21-1 win! 

The day ended with a nice wind down from the exercise and cheering but led straight into the after party held at RISE, Goldsmith’s SU Bar in New Cross where both universities joined together in celebrating our wins, progress, and most importantly sportsmanship late into the night!
