Black Friday weekend in London looked a little different this year. London streets were packed with protesters rather than shoppers.
On 29 November, advocates continued to demand an end to government and corporate complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Despite UK crackdowns on protesting, particularly after the proscription of Palestine Action and the arrest of over 2,000 supporters under the UK’s Terrorism Act, hundreds of thousands still took to the streets.

The objective of this campaign is to ‘Lift the Ban on Palestine Action’, and for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed as a ‘terrorist organisation. Around 150 protesters who attended the protest were arrested.
